Seriously this is one of the best trailers Ive ever seen. Had no real interest in this game until I watched it. Now thats how a light saber should be used

Yeah I played the 360 demo and it was awesome. Looking forward to the full game.

The demo was a waste of space LMO. They finally made the sabres skinny looking and not overblown but the lightning looks average and it was exactly the same as the first game except even more heavly scripted. I mean I am just over it. He's firkkin falling from a building flowing up Tie Fighter left and right with his hand it's just unbalanced.
The dude is so overpowered that he doesn't even feel powerful anymore because everything melts at his finger tips like butter. Alot of the combos were messy and kinda just mixed into each other so it wasn't clear what move I was doing and on top of all that the uber physics from the first game seemed to actually be dummed down this time with glass breaking or metal bending scripted or shoe horned into quick time events.
Ontop of all that the demo was mostly dark with alot of greys and rain, and looked rather underwhelming. Plus I hate the inconsistency of him blowing through all these bad guys but then as soon as Vader appears he only 'stuns' him (because Vader is so much better wtf?) and then he RUNS AWAY from Vader even though he could have kicked his butt.

I completely agree with you, but I would still play and enjoy the game, as I did the first (apart from the Star Destroyer bit...)

And on a similar note to your 'Let it go' comment, you hear about that money grubber re-releaseing EVERY SINGLE Star Wars movie in 3-D at the cinemas starting 2012/2013, one by one from Episdoe I-IV, one a year... The remastered DVD versions were bad enough, but this?

cos it looked pretty cool.... however i saw a review of actual game play that did look rather unimpressive to say the least.

Yeah the game is alright, just gets more repetitive than most action/adventure games do. Will give it a play through and probably take it back and swap for Black Ops, although I am not sure I want that as I am loving Medal of Honor.

Have to say it is a pretty awesome game overall. If I hadn't got it from EB I would probably keep it and play the challenges, but now that I have completed and tomorrow is the last day I can return it for a full purchase price credit ($109.95 for special edition), I will return it and get something else.

Well worth buying off one of our sponsors for almost half the EB price I reckon.

Interesting you rate it so high mate. As people can read from the review on the site I found quite a few issues with it that kept it back from being the game it couldve/shouldve been. Did you not find it repetitive and shallow?

If I may be so bold to place my opinion on the matter, I really didn't see any reason for Force Unleashed 2 to even exist. I liked the first game, warts and all, and it was an interesting story of the founding of the Rebel Alliance, but the sequel just felt exploitive. They bring back Starkiller as a clone, they mess around with what should be an existential journey and boil it down to him crying back to his love interest, it was only like six hours long, padded as hell and just a really bad sequel. Hell, it was so bad I've begun a hiatus off Star Wars all together. As harsh as that sounds, think about it for a while and you'll see what I mean. If I need a sci-fi fix, I'll play Mass Effect and read the books.
